Understanding where these communities are helps ensure that future infrastructure projects are planned in accordance with the surrounding environment.

Environmental Justice Map

Identifies areas with higher concentrations of low-income or minority populations. The map provides an essential tool for evaluating the social impacts of proposed improvements.

Aquifers Map

Shows the extent of the County’s major groundwater aquifers. These provide drinking water for many communities and are critical to long-term water supply planning. Understanding aquifer locations helps to protect groundwater quality and avoid conflicts between wastewater systems and sensitive areas.

Drainage Basin Map

Illustrates the natural boundaries that influence how storm water and surface water move throughout the County. Working along the landscape, rather than against it, supports better planning for infrastructures

Archaeological Map

Highlights areas of archaeological sensitivity based on state and local data sources. These locations indicate where historic or pre-contact cultural resources could be present. The map helps guide future infrastructure planning to avoid disturbance and ensure compliance with preservation and permitting requirements.
